SUSPECTED SERIAL KILLER ‘DRUGGED VICTIMS’
A suspected serial killer has appeared in court suspected of poisoning and murdering four men.
40 year old Stephen Port is accused of killing the men, who he allegedly met on a dating website.
Prosecutors told Barkingside magistrates he gave the men large amounts of the drug GHB.
He is expected to appear in court on Wednesday.
WOMAN ADMITS RACIST BUS RANT
A woman has admitted racially attacking two Muslim women on a London bus.
Simone Joseph, 36, of Willesden Green, was filmed branding Hanane Yakoubi and her two friends as “ISIS bitches” on 13th October.
Joseph pleaded guilty to causing racially aggravated distress, and is due to be sentenced on 13th November.
JAMIE OLIVER CALLS ON CAMERON TO INTRODUCE SUGAR TAX
TV chef Jamie Oliver has urged David Cameron to “be brave” and show big business “who is boss” by introducing a tax on sugary drinks.
He told MPs at the Health Select Committee that successive governments had done “an incredible disservice” to children’s health by failing to crack down on unhealthy diets.
He called for a tax of 20% per litre on the cost of sugary drinks, which he says can be shared between the NHS and primary schools.
EBOLA NURSE CONDITION ‘IMPROVING’
The Scottish nurse who was readmitted to hospital with Ebola is said to be recovering.
Pauline Cafferkey’s condition was said to have “improved to serious but stable,” and is still be treated at the Royal Free hospital.
