If you were in Leeds last night and you missed #Gassed, you totally missed out. It was a night to remember with volumes of energy coming from the Grime guests, a top notch Dancehall and Bashment set from The HeatWave, and our very own SpiceUK team providing the full tun up!

The Heatwave, as always, brought the best in Caribbean music to Leeds, from old school Vybz Kartel to new school Alkaline. They even had some of the Leeds lasses up on stage to strut their stuff to the Dancehall tracks. For a good half an hour we couldn’t even see the Heatwave, they were drowned in the booty shaking.

P Money warmed the crowd up at the start of his segment with the banger that is Man Don’t Care by JME featuring Giggs. Then, he went swiftly into his own hits, including 10/10 (which was shot in Leeds).

Section Boyz were another flipping story. They packed out their room as anticipated and rapped the songs they are most known for ‘Trapping Aint Dead” and “Lock Arff” which drove the crowd to near insanity. Their popularity has grown in leaps and bounds over time and support from artists like Drake and Skepta, it doesn’t seem like love for South London rap group will die down anytime soon! SpiceUk had the privilege of seeing Section off the stage. Here are some of the photos we took.
