Baseman Sorry for The Wave (Mixtape) Review
Overal Impact

East London rapper Baseman, aka King Wavey, releases his first ever Mixtape – Sorry for the Wave! #SFTW

Sorry for the wave in one  word:

My Favourite Lyric:

‘You put your girl in Loubs, and I put lube in your girl’

My Favourite Track :

Do you right ft Danzey

The 12 track tape includes collabs with some of the UK’s finest including: Young Tribez, Snizzy, Jamilah Barry and Myers. Sorry For The Wave also includes a fresh remix to his anthem ‘New Wavin’ featuring Chip, Sneakbo and Krept and Konan!

The mixtape shows a different, but interesting side to the rapper. There are less catchy anthem style tracks like New Wavin’ as we listen to Baseman explore himself, his emotions and the environment he came up in.

Baseman expresses his motive behind ‘Sorry For The Wave‘ as, “Trying to show my fans the wave by combining melodies with raps and composing songs with concepts”.

His combination of songs and his flow create an uncountable wave. Definitely representing for East London.

We Accept The Apology!
